Vendor description: RP Export for SolidWorks is a free OpenRP RP file export add-in for SolidWorks. This add-in gives SolidWorks the ability to export 3D solid and surface data from a SolidWorks part and assembly document to meshes in a RP file.

RP Export for SolidWorks tessellates the solid bodies in a SolidWorks part or assembly document into individual triangular meshes. These meshes are then exported to RP file as mesh objects.

RP Import for Rhino is a free RP file import plug-in for Rhinoceros 3.0 and 4.0. This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to import meshes from RP files. Reads OpenRP RP files and creates polygon mesh objects in the current Rhino document.

RP Import for Rhino is designed to be extremely user friendly and easy to understand. ORPe installed, it automatically loads itself into the Rhino environment. If automatic loading fails there are manual loading instructions in the ReadMe file. ORPe loaded it adds new commands to Rhino's existing commands and a new submenu called 'RPImport' to the Rhino menu containing these newly added commands.
