Pro-Fit 3d Pipe Fitting Library (www.caddepot.com/blocks/pro-fit-demo.zip)

Complex pipe models can now be drawn in just a short time. There is no more wasted time drawing and redrawing every pipe fitting you need. With just a mouse click, this extensive library will insert the 3d fitting you need. All you do is point and click.

Simplicity
Full installation instructions are included to guide you thru the few simple steps of loading the library into AutoCAD?s menu bar. You will be modeling in just a few moments. Once the menu is loaded all selections are made from a drop down menu and a graphic interface, just point and click, there is nothing to type.

Once you click on the material and size you need, a fitting dialog box will appear showing you all the different fittings available. Just double click on the picture, or the description of the fitting you would like to use, and pick an insertion point in your drawing. It's so effortless!

Details about the Components
All parts are drawn as an AutoCad 3d solid and inserted in a plan view. The insertion point of each fitting is at the intersection of any two intersecting centerlines. The insertion point of pumps, valves, and pipe spools is a flange face or pipe end.

Each part is also equipped with a node at the insertion point and ends, which aid in easy and precise placement. Once inserted the part takes on the attributes of it's associated layer. These parts are not schematic symbols, but true graphic representations of the actual part.

Component Examples: What's Included

3d Pipe
This library contains nominal pipe sizes ranging from 2" to 24" and user defined. Simply choose a size then follow the step-by-step instructions to extrude the pipe to any length. If the pipe is not oriented in a true x, y, or z direction, just use the AutoCad "Align" command under the tools pull down to aid in rotation and placement. Also included is a pipe break symbol, just insert it and scale to the desired nominal size.
3d Flanges
This library contains ductile iron flanges, as well as, slip on and welding neck flanges for steel pipe.
3d Fittings
This menu contains an extensive supply of fittings including, 11 1/4, 22 1/2, 45, short and long radius 90 degree bends, base 90s and tees, side outlet tees, concentric and eccentric reducers, reducing tees and wyes, offsets, and flexible couplings with joints that can actually be manipulated to the manufacturers specified deflections. Also included are expansion couplings, tapping sleeves, steel pipe cradles, and supports.

All fittings are drawn in accord with ANSI / AWWA C110 specifications

And More
Pumps, meters, and valves, including; air relief, check, gate, plug, and butterfly valves. Gate and butterfly valves allow the option of rotating or deleting the operators as circumstances may require.

Also Included
Incorporated into this library are references to AutoCAD commands for creating section views and 2d line work of any view you choose. An AutoCad help reference is also included to guide you thru the process.

QuickSymb is a block manager for Autocad 2000/2000i, to insert blocks (symbols) simplify. QuickSymb is programmed in Visual basic 6,0 (VBA). Target from QuickSymb is, which to users on a any drive or server release a "symbol root" can create thus a directory with any path. Without, a power user must create and administer picture menus. this "symbol root" can contain any subfolders, which it can select then in a combobox. If the user then QuickSymb starts this "symbol root" and the files contained in it is automatically read in by QuickSymb. The autocad files is represented as thumbnails in 20's blocks (on the basis the preview pictures of the autocad files). If the user clicks on a picture (thumbnail) it is requested to pick a insertion point. the file is inserted at this point into the drawing. the user cannot leave the defined symbol root.

	Demo version is a library of over 100 AISC Shapes. The registered version includes all AISC shapes. Shapes are stored as closed polylines. Use them "as is" in 2D drawings, or extrude to length for 3D. You don't ever have to draw another beam! Romenufast (www.caddepot.com/blocks/ROMENUFAST1-4DEMO.zip)

ROMENUFAST is a library menu utility for inserting nuts and bolts as well as engineering features.(i.e. counter bore, clearance holes?) into AutoCAD LT 98, LT2000, 2000, 2002 drawings. It was primarily written to save time inserting engineering fasteners into technical drawings instead of drawing them every time you need them. Its original purpose was just to build a database of fasteners. This is still the primary function of this version, although some users have expressed an interest in using the menu for the engineering features too. This now can be done. The demo version contains only the M5 range, keyway for 24 diameters and bearing for 10 diameter. If you want to obtain the full version, see at the end of the manual included in the zip file.

S3Dfree 2000 (www.cwattsdesign.com)

The S3Dfree 2000 Fastener library allows you to create solid models of assorted Nuts, Bolts, Screws and Washers. The fastener is automatically created after selecting the desired properties, and clicking on the OK button. Standard fasteners may be created as 2D or 3D entities. S3Dfree 2000 is for AutoCAD Release 2000, 2000i, 2002, 2004 and Autodesk Mechanical Desktop 4, 5, 6 & 7: S3Dfree 2000 is the FREE unregistered version of Solid3D. Double click on s3dfree2k.exe from Program Manager, FileManager, or Explorer. Follow the setup instructions to complete the installation.
