The DWG Viewer only supports the DWG/DXF/DWF formats. If you require additional formats, ask about inViso. inViso provides the same user-friendly interface, available as both an application and browser component.

Kubotek Spectrum

Kubotek Spectrum is downloadable viewer software for reviewing 3D models and drawings from the latest versions of the most commonly used engineering (CAD) programs. The simple Windows interface can be easily used by manufacturing, sales, support and service departments without having to learn or install a full-featured CAD system. The Viewer is built on brand new technology using .NET from Microsoft. In order to use the Viewer you will need the .NET Framework, available free from Microsoft, at windowsupdate.microsoft.com. Beware it is rather a large download (~20Mb), but the technology is heavily backed by Microsoft and will soon become present on most computers. If you do not have .NET installed the Viewer will install but give an error if you try to run it.

The Viewer also requires an up-to-date version of the MicroSoft Installer, which it will download if necessary. If this happens you will see a message like 'Downloading file INSTMSIx.EXE'.
